How It Works
WHO CAN SUBMIT?
The goal of this festival is to celebrate and showcase urban comics from all parts of the world. We are accepting submissions from all comedians whose styling represent the urban comedy genre and would like to attend this years festival. We are looking for freshman, seasoned, and veteran comedians.
HOW DO I SUBMIT?
Submitting for the festival is as follows; complete the submission form below. Include a video link (YouTUBE, Vimeo or Facebook videos) to a video of 5 minutes of material in length. It does not have to be from one set, a "best of" highlight reel is just as good. Once the submission form is completed you must finalize your entry by paying the submission fee.
After submissions have closed, a committee panel will review, select, and notify the successful candidates.

WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF BEING CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE?
Participation is contingent upon the total number of eligible submissions received.
WHEN WILL THE LINE UP BE ANNOUNCED?
The line up for the festival will be announced by August 22nd.
CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY SUBMISSION FEE IF I AM NOT CHOSEN?
All submission fees are nonrefundable.
I DIDN'T MAKE THE LINE UP CAN I STILL HANG OUT WITH EVERYONE?
SURE! All comedians are welcome to join in the festivities. Information will be sent to those who did not make the 2021 line up.
DO YOU BOOK ANY COMEDIANS FOR THE FESTIVAL?
YES, booking is handled by our booking manager. Please do not ask for a booked spot, they have already been allocated. The easiest way to be a part of the MULCF is to fill out a submission form.
